Anyone want to be buried not where they live?

I live in a mid-Atlantic state. I have my mother's cremains. When I die, I want to be cremated and our cremains placed in a niche in Miami. Anyone have exp with doing something like this? Can lawyers do this? Of course, I'll be dead and not able to bring this about. Sorry if it's weird. I want to be buried near a relative, at least the same cemetery. Due to expensive dental work, I can't really yet afford a niche for both of us.

TIA

could make those arrangements for you. My cousin from Iowa brought both of his parents to north Georgia to be buried. He reported that it was an easy process, and they had caskets. It should be even simpler with just a couple of urns.

I guess I need a will and a lawyer to let them know my wishes? I guess I'll have to buy a niche. A third person will prob be joining us. I'm totally perplexed. I absolutely don't want to be buried in this state

arrangements. since you are dealing with cremains it is likely anybody could put them just about anywhere if you leave instructions and trust the person to follow through.

dealing with whole bodies is more trouble and expense but all is doable with planning and $$$.

I'm low maintenance. Burn me up, cheap urn, stick my mom and me in a niche. May not even want my name on it

Always hated the fire route, but I will not leave the expense and a funeral home con on my daughter. I have a few mountain tops I use to power up all the time, but my friends I would need to haul me up there are not gonna make that happen. They quit going with me years ago. Have a nephew and niece that may, especially if I “will” the massive amount of hiking, camping, XC skiing and fishing toys to them. A small fortune of toys accumulated over many many years.
So my send off will be sparsely attended up there.
People hate that dress up crap and depressing episode anyway. SPRED me among the trees. High elevation.

It felt satisfying to burn up the cells and tumors that killed her.

I'd go the throw-us-in-the-ocean route, but I want us to be near my grandfather

On burning the cancer cells. It took my wife and my daughter’s mom when my daughter was 10. That was 25 years ago. Burn that disease.

...I want as many of my organs & tissues donated as possible. My brother-in-law is alive today thanks to an organ donor. They can cremate the rest of me & toss it into the Upper Allegheny River in SWPA where I grew up. I miss boating up there.

If you're not an organ donor, please consider becoming one. Thanks.
