As a huge cat lover, I despise breeders who profit from creating what are essentially deformed animals.

that is attractive to (some) humans but detrimental to the animal's health. Pug dogs and Persian cats who can't breathe; German shepherds with sloping backs and bad hips , to name just a few.

3. I agree with you here, particularly due to Dalmatian breeding.

Thanks to Walt Disney, Dalmatian breeding was off the charts.

As a result, current Dalmatians are so inbred they have serious physical and mental problems.

4. Cocker spaniels were really popular for awhile, too,

and they got so overbred that some of them were kind of crazy.
