i am a bipolar, bpd suffering recovering alcoholic in the grips of a deep depression and

my old crutch is calling to me. Right now, the monster has complete control of me and I am too weak to fight the call.

Everything it's telling me is right.

And go run a 13.1. I guarantee when you’re done you’ll not have the same desires.

Best and good luck!

When ever those feelings return, I get moving and get busy. Walk, jog and exercise. Get all of those jobs done that are waiting on me. What ever is getting me down is nothing compared to those dark days.
Good luck with your struggles.

You will thank yourself later.

For the next half hour find something clean and sober to do. Write, draw, exercise, dance, anything…

and when the cravings come, I just have to distract myself until it passes.I know it’s easier said than done. I don’t know if you’re into video games but I find playing a good one works well against the cravings. Best of luck to you and know we’re here for you.

I know how it is. Reach out for help. There are times we can't do this alone. Being in nature has always helped me too. Be well. Sobriety is so worth it!

25+ years sober for me and I am probably still head of my liftime consumption quota.

All of the reasons that you decide to quit are still in play. Don't give up.
