Contrary to my current/here disavowal of movie-buff-dom, back in the '70s I was a slight facsimile of one, participating with my fellow fringe (not real) Hippies in the topic of the latest avant garde feature on campus. I vaguely remember ANTONIONI was a leading "light" for us but has been obliterated from my brain synapses ever since, until a YouTube trail hairballed him up for me and I'm sure I saw The Passenger (1975), without my now not having the least minor image or clue from it. So, fun fact, somebody starts by noting that ANTONIONI wanted feeling, not analysis, of his movies and then proceeds to analyze it. Although It kindled my interest to do some ANTONIONI-ing. Also, this jag of mine started with some videos about that phony Carlos CASTANEDA of that time, with videos showing he had a cult going on and how ANTONIONI's Zabriskie Point was a total flop, and below the two leads are shown dissing the movie, with the dude saying he hoped to learn from ANTONIONI but got nothing.
