I just used it to clean a cast iron skillet in prep for reseasoning.
But then I got to thinking: what else can I use this industrial-strength heat cleaning method for? What about those half-sheet pans that are a pain to clean? Will they warp?

(17,742 posts)It is absolutely the best way to clean cast iron cookware! No scrubbing, just pop it in there and when it's done, all there is is a layer of dust where the baked on crud used to be. I'm currently testing a new seasoning method.
But then I was wondering about those sheet pans, but I'm not sure what they're made of, whether it's aluminum or not. But when those get baked on grease, they're impossible to clean by scrubbing, which is why I thought of this. But I bet they'd warp or even melt, lol.
