especially considering this tagged on at the end of the story:
"UPDATE: I’ve been told that this story originated in the British version of the Weekly World News, so it’s probably fake. BUT WE WANT TO BELIEVE!"

But then I don't have to work or travel or commute in it anymore either, so that does put the bloom on the rose. Mostly I love snow because it isn't late summer when I can hardly breathe. You can always put on enough clothes to stay warm, but not the opposite at least in public.

We've had 20" inches of snow over the last 4 weeks, and there is a foot-deep slab of glacial ice where my lawn used to be...

Honestly... Morgantown WV has had more snow in the last month than we'd had for the last THREE WINTERS combined!

Hope Morgantown is nowhere near the all this pipeline/oil spill problems.

The Elk River chemical spill -- and now this coal-slurry disaster -- are all down in the Charleston metro area, which is 3+ hrs to the south of Morgantown. By comparison, Lyric and i are practically on the PA line.

If such grotesque environmental nightmares are to occur, though, i'm almost thankful that they are happening directly to the state capital... let these idiotic Repukes and corporatists see firsthand what their lax-or-worse regulatory policies routinely cause.
Let them drink that nasty water...

like a human, or a penguin?

I always adjust my step in the winter to avoid falling, and so I rarely fall on the ice.

Mud season...now that's a different story. I forget how slippery it can be and have fallen many times in the mud.
