I grew up hearing those words over and over BUT
I have never heard what neuritis or neuralgia were. Must have been bad, though

Even without this remedy for "serial" headaches.

I really hope you get closure with this and can put the dumb hole-in-the-head and soft spot jokes behind you.

Vintage meds for my vintage ass!

Actually, some Advil helped but GF is getting the Tylenol w Codeine as we speak.

Apparently, opening up the head and fucking with the skull, sticking things in and screwing them down has a tendency to cause some discomfort!

The staff is so cool. Yesterday one of the anesthesia doctors asked what song I wanted to listen to on the way to ER, I picked "Rainbow Connection".

She puts the magic stuff in the IV, we start rolling down the hall and singing and the last thing I remember is entering the elevator.
