https://gma.yahoo.com/north-carolina-teen-writes-rejection-letter-duke-universitys-160012369--abc-news-topstories.htmlOne North Carolina teenager decided to fight back with a rejection letter to the rejection letter she said she received from Duke University.
Dear Duke University Admissions, the letter written by 17-year-old Siobhan ODell begins. Thank you for the rejection letter of March 26, 2015. After careful consideration, I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me admission into the Fall 2015 freshman class at Duke.
This year I have been fortunate enough to receive rejection letters from the best and brightest universities in the country. With a pool of letters so diverse and accomplished I was unable to accept reject letters I would have been able to only several years ago, she continues.
The teenager ends the letter with: "Therefore I will be attending Duke University's 2015 freshmen class. I look forward to seeing you then."

I didn't know anyone from NC went to Duke. I thought all Dookies were from NJ and CT.

Dear Siobhan ODell:
The Duke University Admissions office is in receipt of your letter dated April 1, 2015 and we must admit that we have never received a rejection letter in the history of the school. So you can imagine that we were quite taken aback as to how we should respond as this will be setting a precedent.
After further consideration, we regret to inform you that we will be accepting your rejection of our rejection. However, being that you're such a smartass, you will begin school on probation and your parents will have to pay DOUBLE TUITION, because we already KNOW you're gonna be trouble!
Therefore we will be welcoming you here at Duke University with the rest of our 2015 freshmen class. Tell you parents to make the payments in cash or travelers cheques made out to CASH. Or they can use Bearer's Bonds if they have them.
