Just found out someone tried to hijack my dad's medicare checks, but the agency was on top of it. Luckily, the person didn't get away with anything.
When I told my sis that someone had used my phone numbers to purchase something at Aarons, she recommended I do a credit check to see if there was something out there that I didn't know about.
I figured someone on DU has had experience with this, so please share.

(29,876 posts)1. Start with CreditKarma.com. They are great, you don't have to provide a credit card hence it is
free.
You can access credit reports from their site and they send notices if your credit report has been changed/accessed.
Hope it all works out ok for you.
