And I wondered the same thing last week. Another DU'er has his same avatar image, I think, and seeing that other member's avatar made me wonder about The Magistrate. I'm with Ya -- hope he's doing ok.

Really disconcerting when people disappear from DU.

There was recently a thread on model airplanes which reminded me of him. So you are not alone in noticing his absence.

He was polite, and more reasoned and level-headed in his posts than far too many of the regulars of GD today. He was an expert at sorting through the BS on here. He might just be taking a long hiatus. I've seen other DUers do it for a while after getting tired of this joint.

I was just wondering this morning, and found this older thread. Glad to know that I'm not alone.
And I really hope he's OK.

I'm just going to assume he grew tired of the non-stop BS in GD. Hopefully that's all it is. He may need a break, as I do at times.
