Sea lion strolls through S.F.

http://blog.sfgate.com/stew/2015/04/30/sea-lion-strolls-through-s-f/

Marina district residents got a surprise visitor on Thursday morning: a sea lion.

The sea lion reportedly was seen at Marina Boulevard and Divisadero Street and several KGO-TV reporters tweeted out pictures of the mammal....

The incident comes a little over a week after Mendocino County Sheriff’s officers observed a sea lion on Highway 1 in Mendocino County and helped return him back to the ocean.

I know it's getting to be tourist season, but this is ridiculous!

That's about 50 feet from the water. While it may be a bit unusual to see a sea lion cross the street, it's not like the thing was hiking (flippering?) up Market.

The warm summer days suddenly turn crisp in the early afternoon when the breeze comes up off the Bay. Brrr!

Unless you live in my former neighborhood (upper Market near Noe Valley). The fog often blew past/under us. It was awesome.

in San Francisco. They were fascinating.

None of them crossed the street when I was there.
