It was probably just something someone made up to make himself look clever. His answer to the Napoleon question shows he is not quite as clever as he thinks he is.

For things like this, I prefer the Rose Macauley approach, and believe what I read as it makes it more interesting.

Her quote is "I always believe what I read in the newspapers, as that makes them more interesting."

Her novel The Towers of Trebizond opens with what is one of the best-regarded first lines in literature, ""Take my camel, dear," said my Aunt Dot, as she climbed down from this animal on her return from High Mass."

So, not exactly pop culture.

Directions at the beginning say to read the whole test before answering any questions. Directions at the end say to write your name and put your pencil down.
