The first kiss that did something for you, that turned you on.
My first kiss was with a boy, Gregg Burgess. I like him because he was a musician. I liked his company. But he wanted more than company, and after seeing "Alien," we sat in his car and necked. I was very uncomfortable with it, but didn't think to put a stop to it.
But my first kiss that made my parts shout, "hey! Hey, we're down here! Make something happen!" was with a woman, Karen Reid, and she became my first lover. In the dorm at Los Angeles Baptist College. I love that part of the story.
Please, if you like, tell your tale.

(66,530 posts)We had been friends for a couple of years at that point. One Sunday, in church, of all places, she started flirting with me outrageously. The next night, I summoned the courage to call her (she was very pretty!...) and ask her out to the movies. We saw "Gremlins". The scare factor was enough to have her practically in my lap for most of the movie. During one of the quieter moments, our heads turned towards each other at just the right time, and we kissed.
After the movie, we went to her house, (her parents were away - workaholics...) and made out like bandits...

(54,770 posts)Really kind of embarrassing. It was like in the 7th grade, out behind the woodshed.
A bit older, the first kiss that could have changed my life -- in the back seat of a car -- ended up with her throwing up because she drank way too much. At least that's what I told myself.
But things got a lot better after that.

I forget. I was a pretty late bloomer. I wanted to be a monk before then...

I hate pizza, I said, and she smiled
as she held up a wedge to my mouth.
A bite, the cheese and sauce blending
on my tongue; crunch of crust as I chew, then swallow.
A few bites more, and then with mischief in her eyes
she presses her lips to my startled mouth.
Quick flicker of tongue, as she steals a crumb,
a taste cooler than any liquid to wash down
the commingled flavors.
God, I love pizza.

(149,831 posts)with a boy named Mike.
I was lying down on the beach towel, and he was sitting next to me. Suddenly he leaned over and planted one on me. I didn't like it! Too close, too personal, too physical!
However, by the time he got to #3...I was liking them.
That night, his kisses were "doing something for me.."
It was great.
