About '69 or so I rented an old house in Springfield, Oregon. There was almost no furniture, but there was this old TV.

He junked it out for parts.
(He fixed TV's and radios on the side.)

(1,958 posts)2. I remember when we had an old Philco in a blond cabinet,
it was older than the Predicta, and it certainly was not as cool looking. I remember being told that they were not a reliable television and because of the compact design, it was not easy to change the tubes.
