is he just hyping the season finale? Or, are we in store for some big events on par with the Red Wedding?
I don't really know anything firm, but I've heard a few rumors
While it's big, I don't think "For the Watch" is a BTI moment?
Is the Walk of Shame a BTI moment?
Sansa announces she's pregnant?
I've heard rumors that Tommen may die? And, saw an interview with one of the Sand Snakes that they have something big in store for the finale (killing Jamie, Bronn or Myrcella?) How about Cersei's Walk of Shame coupled with a Godfather-esque montage of Tommen and/or Jamie and Myrcella being killed?

I just googled "For the Watch" (I'm terrible, I can't resist spoilers). Holy shit. All I can say is I think that definitely could BTI.
Could be the Walk of Shame with the inevitable subsequent avalanche of screen shots.
I like these rumors you are hearing. I want them to shock me.

(1,893 posts)The "for the watch" incident in the book - does that involve Ollie? Cause I feel like the show has been strongly telegraphing that something bad is gonna happen with regard to that kid. Does Ollie take part in what happens in the book?
I realize the show may not follow the book - I'm just looking for clues.
Boy, people will freak. I predict YouTube will be flooded with reaction videos, like after the Red Wedding (if that is, indeed, what's in store).

(4,851 posts)He was not involved in the book scene. I have no doubt he will be the "et tu, Brute" party in that scene. Also, I am sure that the "for the watch" moment is absolutely a BTI moment. Since the book does not show what happens next to the characters in that scene, we are all left sondering if what we fear is the result. I know I felt more shocked by that scene than I did by the red wedding when I read the books. I suspected Sansa would get pregnant since the rape scene. Both of these are possible. Cersi's walk is going to happen in the episode, which is certainly going to be a great scene, but not one to BTI. I don't see Tommen dying, but I am sure Brom is done for. I've started to like him, so that means he will be dead soon.

(4,851 posts)Are you referring to hiding him from the public during shooting in the event that there is a cliff hanger that turns on whether his character lives or dies? If you are someone who looks for spoilers about who is in the episodes shooting, you would easily find this out, but IMO the VAST majority of viewers really don't care enough to look for this stuff. Regardless, if yo are one who looks that closely, you would know he has already signed a two year agreement. HBO could certainly buy him out of that agreement and kill him, so there is the possibility that his contract status has no impact on this, but I think the character is not going anywhere and its not going to take something special like leaping into his wolf or having the red god bring him back. I think he is just not going to be killed, but they may make it seem like he might as a good cliff hanger.

(1,893 posts)So the more I think about it, the more convinced I am. Thinking about that scene of Jon Snow bringing the wildlings through Castle Black... the faces of the Night's Watch brothers... yep, they're going there all right. And Ollie with his perpetual stinkeye -- there has to be a reason they've shown it to us so many times.
Oh my goodness. I can hear the gnashing of teeth already.

(8,217 posts)I am wondering if they are going to do an arrow like cliff hanger at the end of the season.
I also have not heard of that actor talking about being around for the next season, especially since they are concentrating on Spain for next season, so guessing a lot more in regards to Dorn.
Can't wait... If it is what I think it is, I am going to have my best friend whining at my ear for a while, as she has not read the books.
I wonder if this post is spoiler-ish...

(46,786 posts)Considering that it all starts out with him looking to settle down in that scene where he's talking to his fiancée and discovers she isn't due to inherit anything, it almost makes sense that it's not a plot that needs to be developed. Not that he will find riches with Tyene, but she will certainly make life interesting for him.

(46,786 posts)I get from the spoilers that Jon Snow is going to get the Caesar treatment in the final episode. And if he does, does he make it through by warging? And I assume he wargs into Ghost? Which makes the name prophetic. But, if this happens, how does Kit, as an actor, ever become Dany's suitor, which is how I thought this would all come together in the end?

(56,829 posts)In the books, Melisandre stayed behind at the Wall and Stannis marched on Winterfell without her. She is there to resurrect Jon, or patch his wounds if he's not completely dead. Not sure how they'll pull it off on the show, unless Mel leaves Stannis at the start of the episode and heads back to the Wall?

(46,786 posts)Good writers know how to confuse things for the reader. One minute we're against someone who throws a kid out the window, and the next we're rooting for him. And now, in one scene we absolutely want Melisandre to see her fateful end, and in the next show we're hoping she redeems herself.
Game of Thrones is very unkind, especially to the child actors.

(56,829 posts)or even be able to do it. He could warg into Ghost like Bran does into his wolf or into Hodor. Then, what does she do?
I saw a lengthy, but very well written, post on westeros.org a while back, though. More spoilers after - The book really goes to lengths to be somewhat analogous to Jonah going into the belly of the whale. (There is even a tavern early in the book called "The Belly of the Whale" . However, right before the FTW moment, Jon gives a big speech to the entire Night's Watch in the Shield Hall. While going to make his speech, Jon notes how dark & stuffy the hall is, and also the timbers that make up the beams on the walls and across the ceiling are. The Shield Hall is the belly of the whale (the beams are the ribcage) - so, Jon is going to come out of this situation a changed man, like Jonah in the Bible.

(4,138 posts)Show only watchers are getting pretty savvy about which characters aren't likely to make a sudden exit and Jon Snow is on the list for sure. It just seems less momentous to us than things like the Red Wedding because the books have a ton on foreshadowing about where the story might go from there - it doesn't seem as final as the deaths of Robb or Ned.
What I wonder is if they are going to show how it is resolved. On the one hand, it would lessen the emotional impact, but it would definitely get the book fandom talking. Plus it will be kind of silly to have a cliffhanger like that, and then have the actor working on set for the next season - I don't think they could keep that under wraps.
I suspect that the Walk of Shame and also what they seem to be setting up for Arya will probably generate a fair bit of discussion too.
