Orange Is The New Black Season Three, Episode Six: Mind Blown (Mild SPOILERS)

They took Chang from the least interesting character to the most intereting backstory of the entire series. I won't go into any detail, but who knew such an unassuming woman would have had such a vicious past? I'll never forget the look in her younger version's eyes as she leaned in from the sofa and into the camera. Wow.

Just finished episode 3 and I can already see how they are sneaking her in slowly.

and then making it work for her. She still seems invisible in prison. The whole concept is very deep and this may be an episode I have to watch again.

Wow is right!

However, it was interesting to see some points which have been topics of discussion here, especially of late, were in the show. Transphobia: when is a woman a woman?
Cultural appropriation: Santeria and Kosher meals

and in the last episode...

Defining African-American culture.
