So, I got a boo-boo...

I slipped and fell while getting out of the pool. I badly bruised my left ankle and right knee. We put lots of gauze and an Ace bandage. There is some bleeding. Big scrapes, but I was able to stand. Doesn't seem to be full breakage.

Ouch. Yipes. Boo!

That sounds really painful. I hope you have a quick recovery.

I once slipped on the ice and fell when I was leaving for work, landed on my arm. My mother asked me if I could move it, and I could, so I just went to work. But it began getting worse as time went on, by midnight I was in pain and couldn't move it. So I went to the ER and it turns out it was broken. I had to see an orthopedist. You can't be too careful about injuries like this. Feel better soon and let us know how you are...

Hard to sleep. Later today, I'm going to the doctor to get some proper bandaging and ointment or something. Whatever we had at home didn't seem to cut it.

I will miss the county Democratic meeting, which sucks, but I'm ouching and I can't be like this all the time.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind thoughts. I think Murphy the poodle will get extra hugs today.

About three years ago I had a fractured fibula and it led to TWO operations, metal plate, pins -- six weeks times two of casts, wheelchair, walker. I'm whispering in Zeus' ear for you.
