i recently had the chance to see Hong-jin Na's excellent film 'The Wailing' (Goksung.) i highly recommend it for those who like well thought out horror, mystery, thrillers, with depth, atmosphere, beauty and heart. it's got a run time of 2 hours and 30 mins but it's a captivating slow burn with a dark and wonderful payoff. i loved this movie!

there's also an excellent genre bending fantasy horror from Hong Kong called Rigor Mortis. it's beautifully shot, thought provoking and engaging. it was a pleasant surprise as the english title has zero to do with the movie's story. the soundtrack is amazing too! i loved it! give it look!
