Hoskins was usually a sympathetic and/or humorous character (which I'm sure is the reason he was the first choice of David Boswell to play his wonderful character Reid Fleming, in what would have been a fantastic movie!). So that made his portrayal of this sick weirdo in "Felicia's Journey" all the more chilling.
