USPS has now added Ground Advantage and my mail has slowed from 2-3 to 7-9 days

Not sure what they're telling us with Ground Advantage. They probably haven't told us. But it sounds like it's moving by ground transportation instead of a combo of ground and air. Tracking shows mail stalled for 2+ days in certain hub distribution centers, then moving to another similar facility for another stall. And still not out for delivery. So is this the summertime vacation period and insufficient personnel, or is this the new normal?

I haven't noticed but I get very little Mail besides junk. And I mail even less. jimfields33 Jul 2023 #1

If they want to save money, A Monday Wednesday and Friday delivery may help. Six days of junk is a lot. Why doesn’t anybody put out a voting addendum during the general election asking what voters preferences for mail. Maybe most want six day mail, but I personally haven’t heard that. I pick up my mail twice a week. We have those mail boxes next to the pool area which is a mile away. I do get the email notification everyday which helps.
