The Shirelles: Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (Live in 1964)

Great live rendition of this timeless classic. Before The Supremes, there was The Shirelles paving the way. A huge landmark in music cultural history, The Shirelles holding the proud honour of being the first African-American all-girl group to hit the top of the chart in the US.
Apparently lead singer Shirely Owens didn't want to record the song at first, thinking it was "too country" for her taste. However, after a sweeping string arrangement was implemented, she (thankfully) changed her mind.

Written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, some radio stations banned the song at the time for containing what they perceived as too sexually-charged lyrics!
More recently Billboard magazine ranked this at no.3 of their "100 Greatest Girl-Group Songs of All Time".
