Have You Heard? Moody Blues Founder Mike Pinder, RIP

If you want a reminder of the thematic heart of the Moody Blues, this is a good one. Here he narrates Graeme Edge's poem "On the Threshold of a Dream" as an intro to what could be considered his magnum opus "Have You Heard", a cosmic musical journey of self-realization in 3 parts.

Farewell to this artistic genius and a major influence on my own musical journey and outlook on life since I heard this as a teenager...

I remember hearing this as a young teen, and discussing the metaphors in songs. Like this one - did it refer to lsd experience? Was it a variation on do unto others/take a walk in another's shoes? It was not a time for simple readings and plain meanings. This was different, and started many on paths of questioning. While still 'just kids'.
