Apparently, I was a very sensitive child because this tune damn near gave me nightmares!

Perhaps it was my K-2 years in Catholic school being told how much God loves us. I don't know man. But at 6 or 7, the thought of people living in the street, children with no shoes on their feet freaked me right the fuck out.

I can clearly remember being four or five and my were driving home after dinner. There were terrible thunderstorms that night and I vividly remember being curled up in the backseat of my mom's thunderbird, watching the storm, and that song coming on the radio and it freaked me the fuck out. Lmao, must have been sensitive too!

I was the same way, a few years earlier...

"What's your name? Who's your daddy? Beware, is he rich like me?"

And Grace Slick. Just Grace Slick. I always felt she was looking right at me. Beautiful girl, but she scared the hell out of me. (I was 5 when this song came out.)
