This band are friends of mine. I met these guys in 1983

In the course of my career I spent 10 years in Japan and still visit as often as I can.

And when I do, I will always go see the guys at Chicken Shack live house.

Because the owner is my friend Nozomu and this is his band

And then the "little bit cold" part played and I went ... wait ... am I just not understanding the accent?

Fun stuff ... only been to Japan once, in 1981 ... for a few days. I was 15. Stayed at the Hotel Yokohama ... It was pretty cool though ... played a lotta that game with the falling steel balls ... Pachinko was it? Where you could win prizes like at Dave and Busters nowadays ... good times ...

BTW, you remember the group Pink Lady? They were pretty big right then.

I bought my vinyl copy of Fair Warning when I was there, btw

But it's pretty common

The secret to pachinko is that the parlor will buy back the prizes. It's a loophole in the gambling laws

I do remember Pink Lady. They were pretty popular well into the 80s on japanese tv
