So was Barbara Stanwyck and Walter Brennan. Im not sure about Gary Cooper, but didnt he turn in names to Congress. And didnt Robert Taylor? I forget. Edward G. Robinson had a hard time.
Even Gene Kelly was trashed by them on the right. He did nothing.
I just like these movies for what they are, but at the same time Ive got something at the back of my throat about them.
Myrna Loy and Bette Davis were two good ones.
