Too late.
Decommissioned railroad bridge that was involved in a grass fire. Still sound enough for bike and foot traffic.

(149,833 posts)I love the perspective of the second shot. All the textures and colors are wonderful!
I think you had some fun today, my dear bluesbassman...

(19,387 posts)The sun was just off to the right, so the outside shot got a little saturated, but under the bridge produced a nice effect with the light coming off the water.
Cool thing is that both the bridge and the trucks are within walking distance from my house. Just goes to show that you never need to go far to find interest things to photograph!
Yes indeed, had some fun today.

(19,387 posts)so I really just took the first one as more reference for what the subject is. The second one grabbed me, I was hoping it would come out well when I set it up. Really tricky lighting under there. Glad you liked it.

(22,382 posts)and exactly like you said the first one set me up to understand it better.
I think sometimes the additional information in multiple shots (as well illustrated in Solly Macks work recently) gives us more to interpret and a more emphatic way of being there with the photographer.
