You really did a great job of catching that eagle in flight. I have tried before, I know it isn't easy.

every morning to get photos of them. I think I found my ideal spot to get some action shots now rather than just the fly bye's.

Here is the original. I didn't like the framing. It snuck up on me. Look upriver, down river repeat and this one flys up behind me. I got one shot.

I like the close crop in the OP although it may not leave enough pixels for a big print.

I have the reach.
A friend actually has made his living for 30 years doing wildlife photography and he said the only way to make any money is to write too. Taking his advice I wrote an article for my state (CT) wildlife magazine and they are going to publish it but I need to limit my cropping in the future to make it through a lot of magazines photo guidelines.
The State of South Carolina Department of Natural Resources used one of my coyote photos but they were limited in size because of the cropping. I kind of felt I had a hand tied behind my back and the reviews for the lens were good. Also the price doesn't break the bank.
