(149,830 posts)For this sort of photo, you really need a digital single lens reflex camera. They cost more but oh boy, those results!

(9,747 posts)The beautiful moon is almost directly overhead here in Georgia, but it's too cold to stand outside and admire it for more than a couple of minutes. Thank you for posting such a wonderful photograph.

It's cold here too, but probably not as bad as where you are...I was pretty quick to get the photo! It was probably in the high 50's here....too cold for me!

It is COLD here--I was getting alerts on my phone for wind chill of 0-10 degrees last night--and Snowy and I did not stay out
long to look at the moon while we were walking.
