(10,242 posts)It sure looks like it but it is coming up at the wrong time. Saffron usually blooms in the fall but with global warming it could be confusing the flowers.
But be ware, there is a crocus look alike to saffron that if eaten in quantities can be poisonous.

(29,785 posts)but not right now, we are hunkered down with a blizzard warning until 9:00pmCST. Our interstate hwy is closed....and lots a county roads are closed as well. Theyve taken the plows off the roads because they cant see. So thanks Mira, there is hope for us too. Love the photos.

I have never seen a field of crocus. Fields of daffodils, yes. What a gift to have that right across the street!
