The Last Ship S2

Started on TNT 6/21...still wooden dialogue. Hard to believe the Maryland State Police and the Baltimore Police would take on the US Navy. I like Rhona Mitra (Dr Scott), John Pyper-Fergueson (Tex) and Fay Masterson (Andrea Carnett, Chief Engineer).
Anyone else watching?

Yes, some of the acting isn't as good as it could be, but I'm taken by the subject matter. The idea of a pandemic isn't all that "fiction".

Overall, a good, action-packed season opener. It was time to conclude the Baltimore story and get the boat out to sea. I'm surprised a benevolent leader wasn't found and helped into that position by the captain, though. I liked how the crew showed so much initiative.

and the ratings are just so-so. But it's a pet project of TNT's new chief, so it stays no matter what.
