(55,037 posts)we used to go stay in a cheap hotel nearby to watch the annual fireworks and fire. kind of surprised there is anything not fire-hardy left up there at all. folks should probably either volunteer to remove buffelgrass or cover the saguaros with fireproof fabric. I have plenty of barrel cactus if they want some for replanting.

(55,037 posts)we sat on the hill and watched Sierra Vista, the Fort, and Benson at a distance. it was nice up there but the view was too far away so that part sucked.
