That is pretty damn cool. I was not aware of this phase of his career. Too bad it can't be opened for some public access.

but after the Northridge quake hit, followed later by some torrential rainfall, the house was red-tagged and the owners at the time who did have it running as a museum wer unable to pay for the needed repairs.

Thanks for posting. There are a couple of Wright houses near us, but I was unaware of the S. Cal. houses.

This particular house, in my mind, is overwrought, to big, too overwhelming.

That being said, there are fantastic elements in it that I love, and could comfortably live with if it was scaled down to fit a more intimate living space.
