(4,613 posts)but after the Northridge quake hit, followed later by some torrential rainfall, the house was red-tagged and the owners at the time who did have it running as a museum wer unable to pay for the needed repairs.

(28,394 posts)Thanks for posting. There are a couple of Wright houses near us, but I was unaware of the S. Cal. houses.

(36,508 posts)This particular house, in my mind, is overwrought, to big, too overwhelming.
That being said, there are fantastic elements in it that I love, and could comfortably live with if it was scaled down to fit a more intimate living space.
