Grew up in the Richmond district and vaguely remember parts of SF in this video.

Hubby was watching Dirty Harry where they filmed parts of the in Mission Bay. It is totally unrecognizable now.

When I was in high school I was in this PAL cadet program with the SF Police. We once had to “guard” the show while they were filming the set. Michael Douglas ran by and he said “Hi girls” my friend and I almost fainted because he was so handsome! There is a picture somewhere of me as a gangly teenager posing with him and the other cadets.

I first saw the city in 1961 when we moved to San Jose. Yes, a lot has changed, but it struck me how much is still the same.

Those shots of the lions and tigers at the zoo certainly fired up some long forgotten memories.
