A ne'er do well decided to flee State Patrol and happened to drive down the throat of my buddy who was working a separate accident. In the course of trying to deploy spikes to stop the pursuit, the perpetrator hit him and the CSP Cadet he had with him that day. My buddy is alive and recovering. Sadly, the young cadet was killed.

The deceased is an Army veteran. My buddy is a member of my national guard battalion. He is a longtime community servant. On active duty he helped keep peace as an MP in Croatian towns. He is a dedicated - and definitely good guy - law enforcement officer. I know him, and I know trying to stop that driver wasnt about 'getting him', it was totally about stopping him before he hurt anyone else.
He is an excellent NCO and crew chief. Ive worked with him so many times in the last few years - its always fun, effective and educational.

Last but not least he is a dedicated husband and father. And they are facing a very long recovery with him. Every and any dollar will help. I appreciate you taking the time to consider this.
