Ha ha ha, more turmoil in the Woodbury County GOP.

Iowa lawmaker asked to leave Woodbury County GOP over gas tax vote

SIOUX CITY | Thirty members of the Woodbury County Republican Party Central Committee want state Sen. Bill Anderson, R-Pierson, to resign from the county party leadership because he voted for a gas tax increase.

Anderson said he has no plans to resign.

...

Those asking for Anderson's resignation said he violated the county party's issue stance against a gas tax.

"Senator Anderson has demonstrated contempt and arrogance towards those members of the Republican Party who support core Republican beliefs," the resolution reads.

They also didn't like that Anderson performed an act of "capitulation" to join Democrats in voting for the tax.

America can no longer afford to pretend rural Iowa represents America.
