Hatfields v McCoys ..... aka the Michigan GOP

(Michigan Advance) Arguments over who the chair of the Michigan Republican Party is spilled out into several of the GOP county conventions held Thursday night across the state.

In Oakland County, Kristina Karamo, who is no longer recognized by the Republican National Committee (RNC) as party chair, was angrily shouted at as she tried to address the delegates, many of whom are supportive of former U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, named by the RNC as MIGOP chairman, the Detroit News reported.

Afterward, Karamo posted to social media that it was “comical” that people were afraid of her talking with convention attendees.

“The Grey Poupon Good Ole’ boys club hate that they can’t control me, and that we’ve disrupted their corruption club,” she said. “Our movement isn’t going away. We are bringing a Righteous Renaissance to the Republican Party. We are Constitutional-Conservatives on a mission to save our Republic. It’s a reason the majority of our State Committee want me to continue as chair. They know the stakes are too high to let the political oligarchy push us out.” ..................(more)
