'Hammered drunk' Dearborn fire chief finally charged with drunken driving

(Detroit Metro Times) Dearborn Fire Chief Joseph Murray was charged with drunken driving on Wednesday, two days after he returned to work following a suspension, and one day after Metro Times reported he still had yet to be charged.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office charged the 44-year-old with two counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Replacing this guy on short notice, who is at least marginally functional at his job, would cost half a million$$$$. Is he a GOOD fire chief? Figure that out, and act accordingly!
If he's not all that, then work on replacing him for causes to do with his job performance. Avoid "wrongful discharge", and figure out how to retire or "re-home" him.
