Well, that was quick: Steverson switching to GOP, give them supermajority in MS senate

Jody Steverson, D-Ripley, plans to switch to the Republican Party -- just two days after his re-election as a Democrat.
This would give the House GOP a 74-seat supermajority.
House Speaker Philip Gunn and state Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef on Wednesday said they were on the hunt for someone to switch.
