Rumors of OU President's retirement today "inaccurate".

That was the statement released by OU public affairs. However all of the faculty and staff on campus got an email talking about an address at 2 p.m. that was related to the "future of the university". Wow, we have been here since 2000 and he is the only President we have known. Could make for an interesting time on campus.

If he is stepping down I can't blame him, it is a trying time for higher education especially in this state and he has had some health issues. If it were me I'd be tired of fighting it.

Quite a buzz on campus this morning.....
