The Tulsa World broke the news that Senator Lankford had written a letter apologizing to his "friends in North Tulsa" for trying to delegitimize the election. Where is his apology to the rest of America?
Sen. Lankford spent weeks planning to challenge electoral college votes, even though craven political calculation altered his follow through on the Senate floor.
The headline in the Tulsa World should have read: "Leading Trump Sycophant Backslides Into a Moment of Decency." No doubt, a cynical fleeting moment is all we can expect from him.
