Texas lawsuit: Racial slur printed on wedding reception photos
HOUSTON, April 1 (UPI) -- A Houston couple's lawsuit alleges pictures from a rented photo booth at their wedding reception came out with a racial slur printed on them.
Cathy Hale, an attorney for the Houston couple, said the photo booth rented from Premiere Photography at the August 2012 wedding reception printed some pictures with the wedding date and the caption, "Poor {expletive} Party."
Hale said her clients, who she asked not to be named, did not know about the pictures until family members informed them a few months after the wedding. She said the husband contacted James Evans, the owner of Premiere Photography.
"{He} said, 'what happened, how could this happen, please tell me how this occurred,' and the only response that he got after that conversation was, 'sue me,'" Hale told KPRC-TV.
