Police dispatched to House of Blues after thousands show up for J. Cole concert

When J. Cole announced the location, people “started going crazy and took off running and piled up,” he said. One person fainted, likely from the heat, and others climbed on top of an employee’s vehicle, he said.

Some parts of the rush were scary because people couldn’t stand up and were being dragged along with the crowd, she said.

This seems like a bad idea announcing a pop-up concert with a stampede of people and putting the police in a tense situation. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
