Police dispatched to House of Blues after thousands show up for J. Cole concert
Dozens of Dallas police officers were called to the House of Blues on Sunday after thousands showed up for a pop-up concert.
About 3,000 to 4,000 people lined up with the hope of seeing hip-hop artist J. Cole, who had promoted the first concert of his Dollar and a Dream tour on Twitter. The House of Blues holds about 1,600 people.

When J. Cole announced the location, people started going crazy and took off running and piled up, he said. One person fainted, likely from the heat, and others climbed on top of an employees vehicle, he said.

Some parts of the rush were scary because people couldnt stand up and were being dragged along with the crowd, she said.
