so the paxton trial has begun...

before all this started, many months ago, and paxton was already on the hook for committing felonies but never was sentenced because texas; I had said to my wife, "the only reason paxton is now an issue is because he was determined by the other rebukes in the texas house to be more a liability than a benefit."

prior to all of this, the were all just fine and dandy with paxton committing felonies and them keeping him out of prison. but then something happened in the repuke back rooms. they looked at the balance sheets and realized that sociopath paxton was now costing them money, not votes (remember this is texas)

which then lead to my belief that, while paxton will go to prison (he screwed over the wrong repuke somewhere), nothing of substance will really change in texas politics. paxton will just be replaced with a flunky that will willfully toe the line in exchange for a life time appointment (this is texas) and lots of money.

this is nothing more than the rebukes trying to appear to be all "look we can appear to be all responsible and shit!!" heavy on the shit.

I am infinitely cynical when it comes to present day texas politics.

and just overall regarding texas politics:it continues to amaze me how the people of texas continue to vote for failure.

Left for good. Not going back. It's become a republican shit hole in so many ways.

3. Yep. He asked for state money to pay his whistleblower settlement.

That is what triggered the investigation.
