We tend to pull bid-50% of total votes cast and they control 67% of the legislature thanks to gerrymandering.

and in 1 election the entire state flipped from total Democratic control to total Republican control which haunts us to this day. That's also the election where Ron Johnson beat Russ Feingold for the Senate seat for the first time.
