Voter turnout brisk in city (watertown think Compas vs Fitzgerald)

Voters in Watertown were already turning out in high numbers for Wisconsin’s historic recall election this morning.

Of the 12,766 registered voters in the city, 1,623 or 12.7 percent had cast a ballot by midmorning.

Watertown city Clerk Mike Hoppenrath said he believed turnout was going to be close to the 75 percent he predicted last week.
