Related: About this forumComedy Central seems to be playing Silly Buggers with the Daily Show again.
Not content with bumping it forward to midnight on what seems to be the spurious grounds that it contains "adult" humour and strong (though bleeped-out) language, it's being bumped to 1 am on Fridays.
A more cynical man than me might suggest that it won't be long before they find that there's "no demand" for it and replace it with yet another fifth-rate US sitcom.

(75,480 posts)I get it at the same time 8:00 pm as usual and a repeat at 10:00 pm. I think it might be your cable provider doing that not Comedy Central. You may want to talk to them.
Also, there is no new Daily Show on Friday. They just air Monday through Thursday.

You sure you've not been watching repeats ?

But, to each his own, my friend.
