Assuming Roy Moore-R wins the December 12 2017 election,

Could the Etowah County,AL District Attorney's Office or the US Attorney from the Northern District of AL issue a warrant for Roy Moore's arrest. Arresting Moore the day after the election can prevent Moore from serving in the US Senate. The Republican Governor of AL can appoint a caretaker until the next Special Election which will take place in November 2018. The arraignment judge can deny Roy Moore bail to prevent Moore from being a candidate for the political office again.

There should be NO reason for the GOP to change the rules just because their nominee should be spending life in prison as Bubba's bee-otch and as a registered sex predator. It's not Doug Jones' fault that his opponent is less fit to run than is Rush Limbaugh. The rules are the rules, and that means that Roy Jones name MUST stay on the ballot, and that after the election, if Jones has more votes, then another court ruling (rendered within a day or two) could rule that since Jones is ineligible to hold the post, that the second-most vote getter wins the election.

In addition, NO other Republican's name can be printed on the ballot. AGAIN, I REPEAT....This is STRICTLY the GOP's fault for putting up this obviously unqualified piece of manure, and the Democrat SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED FOR THAT! PERIOD!

Sorry for yelling, but if Jones does not end up getting the senate seat by the Winter Solstace than the elections are RIGGED. End of line.

can win due to early voters in AL.
Arresting Senator elect Moore will be a great solution.

Unless the legislature can fast-track removing statute of limitations for molestation, it won't be done. They CAN, and should, sue in civil court though. Jones is 12 points up now, so the point is moot.
