2020 US Senate Election in OR is in the Likely Democratic column according to 270towin.

Is Merkley(D-OR) planning to retire?
Are any of the top tier Republicans such as OR-2CD US Representative Greg Walden-R or OR Secretary of State Dennis Richardson planning to run?
OR should be in the safe Democratic column.

Walden is already a made man in the GOP House caucus. Unlikely to happen. Knute Buhler? Failed at Governor's race. he can try, with weak results. Dennis Richardson has brain cancer and is very sick.

The GOP need never be underestimated, but in Oregon, they're relics.
