So I was perusing composting bins on Amazon

I think 40 gallons or so would be all I need. There are two that seem to fit the bill:

https://www.amazon.com/F2C-Chamber-Compost-All-Season-Composter/dp/B0BL75QMBM?th=1

$62, not too bad.

Here is a seemingly similar one:

https://www.amazon.com/Compost-Capacity-Rotating-Tumbler-360%C2%B0Rotating/dp/B0BZPHLNDS

It is a bit more spendy at $1765 (or pay $147.08/month for a brisk 12 months).

This isn't an obvious mistake, there are a whole bunch of these over $1000.

So, what's up with that Amazon? Do you dispatch gnomes to my garden every night to rotate and fill it for me?

And charge crazy prices betting on the rich but gullible buying your widgets. And the great thing is you can drop shop the more realistically priced widget to fulfill that rich but gullible order.

Who would pay this? Certainly not me.

Of course if it comes with gnomes, that's a whole other story!

$62 is reasonable but as a gardener of many, many decades, I have learned one thing: they are like exercise machines. People buy them, realize they aren't "for them" and get rid of them. You can find them on craigslist or maybe Facebook marketplace, though I never shop the latter.

I have three at my home and they are rolling bins. This is a great feature, but sometimes they get too heavy for me to turn and I have to get the RG to do it.

Anyway, check used if you want to save $$.

made in the UK. You know, they said they did the Brexit so they could develop their own products. Hmm.
