Any other old Deaniacs here? Does DU have anything like The Bat? For Al Franken donations.

I hope every one of us who has cheered when Al Franken spoke truth to power donates as we can.

Going to now do the same for Mazie Hirono, Brian Schatz and neither of my congresspeople. In fact I'll go donate to their primary opponents, Sherry Campagna and Kaniela Ing.

/no, I don't condone what he did. If the standard for a Democrat is perfection but the Republicans can run and win with the worst people in the world, we're going to have to look pretty hard for candidates. I'll take him how he is, flaws and sincere apology and all.

Anybody who cares to lecture me can save their breath as I'm definitely going to ignore you.

giving to Hanabusa or Tulsi Gabbard. I described them as "neither of my congresspeople" because, local style li'dat, no need be dakine if you can avoid it. Instead, I give to Kaniela Ing and Sherry Campagna.

I guess I can see how that may not have been clear.
